ASSIGNMENT:

This was a purchase transaction for an expanding international firm located in Vietnam. They needed a place for a growing division that they had here in the states.

CHALLENGE:

The local division here was profitable but the main financial strength came from the parent company located in Vietnam. However the parent company could not be on the loan as a guarantor.

SOLUTION:

We were able to arrange a great loan through one of our Asian Portfolio banks and they only required to review the financials on the parent company but ultimately made the loan to the division here in the states, with no guaranty required from the parent company.
